What do you think about pricing?

If you believe “I only know how to bill by the hour,” it’s easy to stay stuck billing hourly.

When you think it’s the only way, you don’t look for other options. 

You keep billing hourly, even if it’s not what you want, and change feels overwhelming and scary.

But if you shift to “There are other ways to price — and I can learn them,” everything opens up.

You get curious. You learn what’s worked for others. You test your prices on “friendly” clients where it’s safe.

Over time, hourly billing stops feeling like your only option. 

You realize you can price better and more profitably.

P.S. When I started working with Erica (back in the dark ages, before ChatGPT!) she still did some billing by the hour. It's okay. Lots of people start there. Just don’t stay there.
