Want the ways out of the overworking trap?

Yesterday, I shared 4 common traps I see inside CPA firms that lead to overwork and burnout.

Here’s the good news: each one of them is fixable.

Here’s what to do instead:

Replace hours with results. Focus on what your client wants, not how long it takes you.
Hiring comes second sixth. First, reduce. Second, raise prices. Third, niche. Fourth, website. Fifth, systematize.  Sixth, "Wait. Now my business is efficient. Do I even need to hire?"
Think like a business owner. Obsess about client results and ways to deliver them ultra-efficiently.
Ruthlessly constrain. If you're not saying no's that hurt, constrain more. (If the weights feel easy to lift, they're not heavy enough.)

None of this is instant.

But it's possible, and everyone who works at it says it's worth it.
