Price by the pixel

Work can be priced by the hour.

A tax return can be priced by the hour.

A tax return could also be priced by the gram, by the page count, by the thickness of the whole printed she-bang, by horsepower, by the pixel, or by the cycles of radiation of a Cesium atom.

Turns out, ONE SINGLE SECOND is defined as the time that elapses during 9,192,631,770 cycles of radiation of a Cesium atom.

Therefore, one hour is 33,093,474,372,000 cycles of radiation of a Cesium atom.

The value of a tax return to a buyer could be thousands or tens of thousands of dollars, but she who prices based on time, ties her revenue to Cesium atom radiation.

Why not just price by the pixel?
