Your next step is to get your staff set up.

We suggest the following:

1. Decide when you want them to start.

2. Take a look at the webpage your staff will see, so you know what they will get.

3. Watch the mindset videos on that page, so you can set expectations about what coaching is, and what it’s not. We want to allay concerns that they are being disciplined (they’re not), or it’s like therapy (it’s not). You may want to mention how it helps you, so they have a sense of what it might be like. Remember: most people have never been coached. Address possible apprehension and reluctance.

4. Decide when you will tell them, and if you’ll do it in a staff meeting, or one-by-one.

   The sooner you start, the sooner you will have higher-performing staff.
