Hi Geraldine - thanks for your question!

Most important shifts:

  • not everyone will grow with you

  • stop trying to save people; you cannot make people more successful than they want to be themselves

  • value pricing has made the promoters more money than it has accountants

  • always simplify and get more focused (reduce services, reduce employee job scopes, systematic pricing, etc)

  • pay up for better people... someone who will 10x your firm might only costs $20k more (but not paying up ensures a lifetime of pain)
