Work does not make money

Earlier, I wrote about your business creating revenue by creating value, not by your work.

You can
catch up here.

...

Another problem with the belief “I have to work to make money” is that it focuses the mind on the to-do list, perpetuating a never-ending list of work to be done.

When you assign the mind the task of “getting work done,” it follows your instructions.

It buries the nose in the checklist and gets singularly focused on doing and crossing off, doing and crossing off, doing and crossing off.

You’ve given it the job you want it to focus on.

Now, it’s so focused on work that it doesn’t stop to ask, “How can I create more value?”

So, the mind does not come up with ways to create more value.

Without increased value created, the path of using work to generate revenue perpetuates itself.

...

She who believes, "Work is how you make money," will always find herself working, to make money.
